The choice for Xylos speaks volumes. As a locally rooted family business, Xylos stands for quality and a commitment that holds up over the long term. Those foundations align perfectly with Q8's ambition to keep building strong, future-ready IT support.

A partnership built on trust

Q8 was looking for a partner who listens, thinks along, and takes ownership. A partner who dares to challenge where needed, but always starts from business reality. Q8 found that in Xylos.

Hans van Doorslaer, Technology Operations Manager at Q8

“The migration to Xylos went remarkably smoothly. From day one they understood our strategic needs and brought the right expertise to the table. The professional and people-focused collaboration during the transition confirms for us that Xylos is the right partner for the next phase.”

Both teams worked closely together during the transition. Thanks to strong knowledge sharing and clear agreements, continuity of service was guaranteed throughout.

A fresh approach to IT support

For Xylos, a service desk is about more than resolving tickets. It's a crucial link in employees' digital experience. Every interaction shapes how IT is perceived within the organization.

Benny Moonen, Commercial Director at Xylos

“We deliberately chose a fresh approach. Not just taking over activities, but a clear step forward in quality, structure and follow-up. We listen to the organisation, analyse the processes and build service maturity in a targeted way.”

In the coming months, the focus is on expanding with new services and developing a service improvement track. Together with Q8, a backlog of improvement initiatives is being prioritized and translated into concrete actions.

From service desk to intelligent support

The ambition goes beyond classic IT support. There are clear opportunities to further boost the efficiency and quality of support through automation and AI.

That includes, among other things:

  • more self-service backed by a strong knowledge structure

  • further automation of repetitive processes

  • proactive follow-up of incidents

  • supporting employees with AI-driven assistance

Patrick Leysen, CEO of Xylos

“We are particularly proud that Q8 is choosing Xylos. This collaboration confirms that our focus on quality, governance and people-focused service makes the difference. We start with the service desk, but our ambition is broader: building together a high-performing, future-ready support organisation with continuous improvement at its heart.”

Building continuous improvement together

What starts today as a service desk collaboration is the beginning of a journey centered on improvement, efficiency and user experience.

For Xylos, this isn't a classic vendor relationship. It's a partnership in which both organizations share responsibility, take initiative, and keep building toward lasting impact.
