The customer | Partena and Parentia
Partena and Parentia are Belgian companies that provide various social services, including child benefit funds and advice for entrepreneurs. With their 1 Workplace project, they wanted to migrate to the cloud with Microsoft 365 and phase out their Citrix environment.
The process | Training employees during 1 Workplace Roadshows
Our Xylos trainers conducted two demo sessions per day at different locations across Belgium, in both Dutch and French. They showed employees how to collaborate in the cloud. For example: how do you manage personal documents? How do you collaborate with colleagues efficiently? And where do you put information that’s useful for the whole company?
The trainers also explained what would change when the Citrix environment was phased out, such as smoother calls and faster Internet access. The IT department could also look forward to several beneficial changes, such as easier workplace and application management.
The result | Customer and trainer look back on a successful project
For Xylos Learning trainer Kurt, the experience was a pleasant one: “I conducted no less than 47 demos on 1 Workplace. During these sessions, I met about 700 Partena employees, and I immediately noticed their positive attitude towards the new way of working. It made my job as a trainer so much easier.”
Partena and Parentia are also satisfied with the way the project was implemented. “Thanks to Xylos’ enthusiasm, we immediately felt good about this project. It was clear that they were a partner who could make this story a success,” says Giovanni Praet, Project Manager at Partena and Parentia. “With the exception of a few minor changes, Xylos was able to fully meet our planning expectations thanks to their flexibility. Brining over 1,400 employees across Belgium up to speed in just three months is no easy task. But after each roadshow, our employees thanked the Xylos coaches for their professionalism, their fun approach, their clear and understandable presentation and their patience during each hands-on demo.”
